Guests can also enjoy the heated pool option and complimentary use of 2 kayaks with life jackets. Centrally located, Slack Tide Cove is just a short drive to Marathon’s top attractions, including the Turtle Hospital, Sombrero Beach, and the famous 7 Mile Bridge.

Other things to know:

* The street the home is located on is narrow. You may have to drive in reverse down the street to park a boat trailer at the home.

* Kayaks are heavy, and dock height may make launching and retrieval difficult for some guests. Please plan accordingly.

* Security cameras around the exterior of the home and records both video and audio.

* Pool heat is available for $300 per week (plus tax) and $42.86 per additional day (plus tax). Requests must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Requests made within 24 hours of check-in or after arrival are subject to an additional $75 activation fee and no refunds will be issued if a specific temperature is not reached.

*Seasonal Seaweed Notice: Like much of the Florida Keys, our canal can experience seaweed at certain times of the year. On the ocean side, this usually happens in summer/fall while gulf-side canals see it more in winter/spring. It’s a natural part of the area and may affect the canal during your stay.
